Carey Lowell was a former American model and actress. Her first job was modelling for fashion-forward designers, such as Ralph Lauren or Calvin Klein. Her acting debut came with the film 'Dangerously Close' (1986). In the same year, she starred in "Club Paradise". She also appeared in 1989's James Bond movie, 'Licence To Kill'. Later, she reprised her part in the game 007 Legends. She is popular for her TV work, particularly in the role of 'Jamie Ross,' which featured her in both a leading part and in a secondary part. In dismay with the mainstream media in the early 2000s, she decided to go to New York University and study documentary filmmaking. The long-running divorce from Richard Gere, an actor, ended in 2016. Lowell has stated that she has not been involved in any controversy in the years since.
