Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd's journey in combat sports began when she was 14 years old. After a kickboxing training session, BJJ and wrestling she made her amateur debut against Jaimee Nievera at WCFC when she turned 18. Ladd went on to improve upon her victory on the night of Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won three consecutive fights. She finished all of her opponents in the first round. After that, she went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo ahead of a match against Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia lost to Aspen with a majority vote. This put a stain on her record as an amateur. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to win against Roma Pawelek, taking her score to eight-1. Aspen turned professional in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her slay Ana Carolina Vidal to score an KO early in the round. Invicta 16 saw Aspen move from Bantamweight to her bout with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen's superior wrestling skill has smashed McGill as she managed to finish her fight in the third round by TKO (elbows and punches). The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) in which Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her in the second round via TKO. Invicta FC21 was her final event for the company. Invicta FC21, she defeated Sijara Banks via a unanimous vote. Aspen Ladd debuted in the UFC in the 118th UFC Fight Night 118, in a fight against Lina Langsberg. She defeated Lina by a ground and pound win in the 2nd Round. Ladd continued to dominate with a stunning win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger at UFC 229. Ladd finished Evinger within the first minute as well as a win of the evening bonus. Her first major fight came when she fought her second opponent in UFC Fight Night dos Anjos vs. Lee against Sijara Eubanks in an Invicta FC rematch. Both fighters fought a close fight that Ladd won by unanimous decision. The two fighters each received the Fight of the Night Bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie defeated Ladd in just 16 seconds in order to stop her winning streak. Following a brief break, she returned to finish Yana Kunizkaya during the UFC's ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her most recent fight with the UFC she fought Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. Her loss was an unanimous decision.
